| Maria Jose Lora, Miss Peru is the new Miss Grand International 2017 |
It was a night of pomp and pageantry.
Seventy-seven hopeful contestants vied for the honor to be crowned Miss Grand
International 2017. The night ended with three pre-pageant favorites in the Top
5. Miss Peru, Maria Jose Lora, as the
top favorite romped off with the title, Miss Venezuela, Tulia Aleman was first runner-up and Miss Philippines, Elizabeth Clenci settled for second
runner up honors. Miss Puerto Rico, Brenda
Jimenez was adjudged as third runner-up. Miss Czech Republic, Nikola Uhlirova completed the Top 5 as
fourth-runner up. Truly the evening was magnificent.
